Details(This was originally reported by Peter Ross on the Ubuntu bug tracker, but applies to Arch's package too.)
If you try to compare two files with different sizes, vbindiff will segfault. For example, run: $ dd if=/dev/zero of=test1 count=4096 $ dd if=/dev/zero of=test2 count=8192 $ vbindiff test1 test2 Hit the enter key to find the next difference and the program will crash. The attached patch (copied from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vbindiff/+bug/1283418) fixes this issue. |
