Description:
File selection with the mouse or CTRL+A became very slow with many files in Thunar 1.6.4.
I have reported this regression upstream [2] and bisected it.

The culprit is a workaround written because of X errors with RHEL5. [1]
But with the latest packages in Arch Linux the "patch" [3] should not be needed.
Could you please revert it until this is resolved upstream?
