Description:
For several days, my network card is unstable. Wifi is useless. It also has about half year ago. Linux x61s 3.18.2-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 9 07:23:08 CET 2015 i686 GNU/Linux 02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6200 (rev 35) |
This task depends upon
Linux roman-arch 3.18.2-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 9 07:37:51 CET 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak] (rev 34)
It was still going on in the new kernel version (3.18.6-1-ARCH).
In the mean time i downloaded the latest arch installation image (Current Release: 2015.02.01 with 3.18.4 kernel) and booted from USB drive. I can connect with the wireless network and the connection was very stable.

I am convinced that this is a hardware problem. I replaced the wifi card and problem is gone.
