I've noticed that latest ffmpeg from cvs does not have the --enable-shared-pp option anymore, and this maybe whats causing libpostproc.* errors while using vlc.
See http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=1491&O=0&L=0&C=0&K=ffmpeg&SB=&SO=&PP=25&do_MyPackages=0&do_Orphans=0&SeB=nd

Paul, I pass that to you, can you look at the shared-pp stuff. The actual bug is fixed already.

I don't use vlc, but have you tried Tobias's latest vlc from testing? Does this new version fix anything for you?

If the option is gone in the new version, I think our best approach is to figure out how to make vlc work with the new stuff, unless someone else has a cleverer idea.

Is there anything left to do here? How's the newest 20060727-1 working for people?
