DetailsThe package should provide a sysusers.d file which creates a uuidd user and group.
The package already provides a tmpfiles.d file which creates two directories with user/group uuidd/uuidd. However if the system is booted without /etc, this user is not automatically created and the service 'Create Volatile Files and Directories' fails to start up. |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: uuidd user and group are created on install. I'm not adding a dependency on systemd to avoid potential circular dependencies.

...and why would you ever boot Arch without /etc?
