Description:
I think go doesn't depend on awk anymore, because namcap reports it as not needed and such dependencies could have been removed from the distribution since go generate.
Perl is in the base group.

Additional comments about closing:  Will remove perl and gawk from the list of deps for the next release (both are in [core]).

Hi. Both perl and gawk is in [core], so removing them won't make any difference, except making the PKGBUILD slightly cleaner. I'll consider doing this for the next release of Go. Closing this one.
