Details

Description:

Error while launching java related product. Finded on IntelliJ 13.1.3 (downloaded from JetBrain website) and Wildfly 8.2 (from AUR) after upgrade with openjdk 8 from extra. Occurs only when internet connection turned off.

package version = systemd-218-1-x86_64
error log = "Assertion 'canonical' failed at src/nss-myhostname/nss-myhostname.c:204, function fill_in_hostent(). Aborting."

Steps to reproduce:

-> disable web access;
-> launch java program;

The assertion failure comes from nss-myhostname, provided by systemd.

Nothing to do in Arch. Please report such things upstream.
