DetailsDescription: stress-ng package description is incorrect and misleading. stress-ng is NOT a benchmarking tool (the author event states this explicitly in the manual). stress-ng is a tool to load and stress a computer system.
Additional info: * package version(s) stress-ng 0.02.27-2 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Look at the package description https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/stress-ng/ and see that the desciption states: "a benchmark tool. stress-ng will stress test a computer system in various selectable ways" It is not a benchmark tool. It is a stress tool. Also, the version is out of date, the latest upstream version is V0.03.05 Thanks, Colin King |
