Additional info: * systemd 217-8 -> 218-1 Steps to reproduce: Upgrade systemd 217-8 -> 218-1, and the new journald.conf-file will tell about the folder, but the actual folder is missing. |

That's what I did, but I think it's better to use a separate folder, as stated, to overide sane defaults than to merge the main config everytime. I set 'SystemMaxUse=50M' so it doesn't fill up the disk with logs I don't need. Almost 10 days worth of logs is more than enough for me.
