Description:

UPower package: libupower-glib.so.3.0.0 latest build (December 1) segfaults during gnome startup, causing "Uh oh! Something has gone wrong" screen.

Was able to make the problem go away by built this one locally myself just now (December 13) from the PKGBUILD source. So seems Dec. 1 build was corrupt.

Try reinstalling upower from the repos and see if the crash reappears.

It would also be helpful if you posted a backtrace (even without symbols). (Check if a related coredump is listed in the output of `coredumpctl`, then you can use `coredumpctl gdb <PID>` to open it under gdb to get a backtrace.)

I cleared upower* from /var/cache/pacman/pkg, and ran pacman -S upower, which downloaded and reinstalled it. Problem did reappear.

coredumpctl does not list the libupower-glib coredump for some reason.
