DetailsDescription:
Starting Plasma 5 with qt 5.4 fails with the message > Could not start ksmserver. Check your installation. Downgrading to qt 5.3.2 fixes the issue. I tried rebuilding plasma-workspace, but that fails too, with >/usr/lib/libKF5KDELibs4Support.so.5.5.0: undefined reference to `qMessageFormatString(QtMsgType, QMessageLogContext const&, QString const&)' while linking "testsh". Maybe all of plasma needs to be rebuilt against qt5.4? Additional info: * package version(s) plasma-workspace 5.1.1 plasma-framework 5.5.0 qt5 5.4.0 (multiple packages) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: - Try to start a plasma session through sddm |
