Description: Amule crashes randomly when there are many active downloads.

Steps to reproduce:

Have 4 or more files downloding simultanously or have more than 20 files in the queue.

Resolution:

Use Boost ASIO to replace the wxgtk networking code, as explained by one of the upstream developers in http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=20746.msg107252#msg107252

Oops! My apologies, I just noticed that amule has been moved to extra. Sorry for filing this in the wrong place. Should I open a new bug in the right section?

I filed the last out-of-date-comment and complained about frequent seg-faults - suggesting --with-boost to use in the build.
I suspect the maintainer never used the package he volunteered to maintain.
