DetailsDescription:
community/vtk-6.1.0-3 package includes /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/{autobahn,twisted,zope} directories with belong to aur/python2-autobahn, extra/python2-twisted and extra/python2-zope-interface. Instead of supplying those directories, vtk should depend (or optdepend) on those packages. Or, at least, provide and replace them. Steps to reproduce: Install python2-twisted, python2-autobahn and/or python2-zope-interface and then try installing vtk. |

I can confirm this on my machine. vtk-6.1.0-2 was fine. I guess these dependencies were pulled in by VTK_BUILD_ALL_MODULES:BOOL=ON in rel 3. I suppose adding the packages brcha mentioned to makedepends and optdepends will fix the problem. (I had a look at the file diff and it indeed only conflicts with those three packages.)

Or, perhaps, just deleting everything not belonging to vtk from the /usr/lib/python2/site-packages/ and adding (opt)deps (since autobahn is in aur, it can only be an optdep, I guess).
