There is a list of bugs in Gnome 2.14 I found:
GEDIT
Seems some errors in czech translation. There are menus like "Postranní.panel", "Náhled.před.tiskem", but there should be no dots.
YELP
is using bad font and doesn't respect changes in settings dialog. A think that's why there is some bad characters (Screenshot http://jardasmid.wz.cz/archbugs/yelp.png)

well, this is hard for me to solve. My suggestion you try to contact your local translation gnome team, and see what they say. i am sorry but i can't read/write czech at all ;)

this should be updated upstream by your local team.

Ok. But what about yelp? I think it's using some bad font which can't be changed. The help files (english too) aren't displayed correctly. See the screenshot (http://jardasmid.wz.cz/archbugs/yelp.png).

Maybe lack of certain "correct" font? Yelp follows "documents fonts" in gnome font setting.
