Strange things happend. I had a problem with an external Seagate so i installed linux-lts nvidia-340xx-lts, (then i tried to pull linux from [testing] which seems there was none at this time). so when i uninstalled all this, i could'nt start X. I did pacman -Rssdd linux nvidia-340xx and i reinstalled linux and the old nvidia-340xx with no luck, so i updated to nvidia-340xx-340.58-2 and X starts ok
