The current build of the library enables all backends. Namely SSE, MMX, Altivec, NEON, Arm, c64x and MIPS Considering that Arch targets x86 architecture we don't need the latter four. One can select the former three at configure time like: ./configure --enable-backend=mmx,sse,altivec Additional info: * package version(s) orc 0.4.19-1 Thanks Emil P.S. Is there any particular reason why the package is not updated to v0.4.22 [1] ? Is the maintainer just busy or there is some issue with newer versions?
