DetailsDescription:
After login, cinnamon-desktop starts with a blurred and extremely bright background. Items (menu, window , etc.) remain visible in the background (with transparency) after closing (like a branding in the backgound picture). See attached picture. This issue disappears after changing the background. I have tested this with arch and two arch-based distributions in a virtualbox-vm (v 4.3.18): fresh installation of arch, antergos, manjaro with cinnamon 2.4.3.1 as desktop-environment. As a workaround, you can:
- Use 'Cinnamon (Software Rendering)' session.
- Disable 3D acceleration in the settings of the virtual machine.
