The version of screen currently found in the Arch repo (4.2.1-2) has a bug with hardstatus coloring. This bug was actually fixed upstream on Sat 17 May 2014. Details are available here: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?32339 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/screen/+bug/1257895 Steps to reproduce: * Set some hardstatus line from the above reports (e.g. "%{k}%=%-w%{r}[%n %t]%{k}%+w%=") * Create several windows using Ctrl-a + c. * Switch between windows. The hardstatus coloring is not consistent between switches. |
