Documents on samba share can't be opened with libreoffice. The program closes right after splash screen. I'm using KDE4. Steps to reproduce: Open document from samba share Expected result: Libreoffice opens document Actual result: Libreoffice exits without any errors even in console Proposed fix: Remove "smb" from X-KDE-Protocols=file,http,ftp,webdav from /usr/share/applications/libreoffice-writer.desktop |

Can you please recheck with LibO 4.4.0 - please also try using the gtk vcl as kde integration is known to be buggy.

"smb" protocol is now removed from X-KDE-Protocols, works fine.
