Description:
After update to systemd 217-4 my system is hanging on boot with the following message:
A start job is running for Trigger Flushing of Journal to Persistent Storage (*min *s / no limit)

If I set debug, verbose, or remove quiet kenel param it boots fine, it also boots fine with systemd 217-3 and quiet param

And without the quiet param you're saying it doesn't hang?

Yes. If quiet param is removed it boots fine.

The issue happens intermittently regardless of kernel parameters. (If you try a few times I'm sure it'll boot with 'quiet'.)

@foutrelis, it seems you are correct. I just tried to boot with the quiet param and on the fifth try it finally booted, although it seems to hang more with quiet. Is this a known issue?

This should be fixed in systemd 217-5.
