Description:
With linux-3.17.1-1, USB doesn't work on my machine. Simply, nothing I plug in shows up in lsusb or has any effect (flash drive doesn't show up in /dev, mouse won't move the cursor). Downgrading to linux-3.16.4-1 (as well as downgrading tp_smapi from 0.41-55 to 0.41-54 since this is dependant on a certain verson of linux) allows USB devices to show up and work again. Additional info: Arch x86, up to date linux-3.17.1-1 , tp_smapi-0.41-55 00:1d.0 USB controller: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller #1 (rev 02) 00:1d.1 USB controller: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller #2 (rev 02) 00:1d.2 USB controller: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller #3 (rev 02) 00:1d.3 USB controller: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller #4 (rev 02) 00:1d.7 USB controller: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family USB2 EHCI Controller (rev 02) Lenovo Thinkpad T60 ver 2007 |
