Description:
Mesa produced screen artifacts with kwin and playing diablo 2 in wine

Downgrading mesa{,-dri,-libgl,-vdpau} to version 10.3.1-1 fixed the problem

Additional info:

Downgrading mesa{,-dri,-libgl,-vdpau} to version 10.3.1-1 fixed the problem

Steps to reproduce:
Upgrade to latest mesa in extra
Log in to kde with kwin as window manager
Screen artifacts will be shown (some parts of the screen would be black)

Check upstream bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85526
It has bisect log, which you might want to confirm with your setup.
If it turns out to be another issue, let the developers know (open another bug) as I doubt that they're lurking in here :)

Have you allocated the maximum of memory in your laptop BIOS ? Could help if the max was not set !

There is no option in the my BIOS for the video memory. The problem is solved, there is a patch in the kernel.
