DetailsDescription:
Hi - I hope this is an arch bug but I'm not 100% sure. I think the recent lirc update changed the default lircdfile from /dev/lircd to /var/run/lirc/lircd, however Plex Home Theater still uses /dev/lircd as the default. The update broke my remote support in plex, but running plex with "plexhometheater -l /var/run/lirc/lircd" restores functionality. Additional info: * package version(s): 1.2.2-3 * config and/or log files etc. Default /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf: [lircd] nodaemon = False permission = 666 driver = default device = /dev/lirc0 lircdfile = /var/run/lirc/lircd pidfile = /var/run/lirc/lircd.pid Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch PHT without passing in the -l argument gives no IR support, passing in -l /var/run/lirc/lircd restores functionality |

Thanks for the report, AFAICT there was a '/dev/lircd' symlink pointing to '/var/run/lirc/lircd' for compatibility, I guess it has been removed. I just pushed a patched 1.2.2-4, can you confirm it works without passing '-l /var/run/lirc/lircd' before I submit it upstream?

Wow. That was much faster than i expected. 1.2.2-4 is working great. Thanks!
