Since linux 3.12 nouveau (and radeon) kernel module have gained DynPM support. Meaning that the method(s) used in BB backfire badly. With linux-lts being 3.14, I believe we can clearly say - use DRI_PRIME with your nouveau+intel setup(s). I.e. can we remove the following two: nouveau-dri (mesa-dri) xf86-video-nouveau |

Personally I have not tested it as I'm lacking the setup, but would encourage you to give it a try and see for yourself :)
