When I maximize a gnome-terminal window pressing F11, and then press F11 again to put it back to its original size, it looses one row and one column.

Package version 3.14.1

Steps to reproduce: Open a gnome-terminal, and press F11 several times... you'll see the window shrinking.

Does this only happen in Gnome, or does it happen in other WMs also? I'm thinking this is probably a WM issue, not gnome terminal itself, but I could be wrong.

It happens the same in XFCE, but not in Enlightenment.

The fact that it happens in two of them does point to gnome-terminal itself, so we'll try that.

I have tried another couple of things:

It happens the same with xfce4-terminal running in gnome.
I have installed kdebase-konsole, and it does not show this behaviour.
I have tried with gedit, and it also works properly.

I'm seing this same issue when doing Alt+Tab between the terminal and other applications. Every time the terminal loses focus, it gets shrinked by 1 row (under gnome-shell, haven't tried anything else).

After 5 years, in gnome-terminal 3.32.1, this bug still persist.
