i tried the new gstreamer0.10 packages in testing with bmpx but alsa isn't found when i use the base plugins package from testing. when i use my selfbuild package (all vanilla stuff) it works perfectly.
this package needs to be rebuilt. currently i use gstreamer0.10/-good/-ugly from testing and my selfbuilt -base and -bad packages (-base isn't working and -bad is missing in the testing repo) which works fine. but when i replace my own -base package with the one from testing, i can't use alsa with gst0.10.

oh, i just tested again and with -ugly plugins from testing repo alsa is found, but when i try to play an mp3 file, i get

ERROR (src0):

(Current URI: 'file:///home/baze/taktisch1.mp3'; Detailed debugging information: 'gstbasesrc.c(1416): gst_base_src_loop (): /pipeline_file/src0:
streaming task paused, reason not-linked')

so it works with gst0.10/-good from testing and -base/-bad/-ugly selfbuilt.

On archlinux, all plugins are split up. Installing -base will only install the plugins from -base that don't have external dependencies. Same goes for good, bad, ugly.
