The update to 38.0.2125.104-2 (package change from -1) requires 'icu' to be upgraded to 54.1-1 however it's not a hard dependency; upgrading only chromium renders it non-op until icu is also upgraded. Once 'icu' is upgraded chromium starts just fine. (the same happened to firefox as well) https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/42478 Additional info: The upgrade of icu to fix firefox was done in the other bug report, so post-upgrade for chromium: $ ldd /usr/lib/chromium/chromium | grep icu libicui18n.so.54 => /usr/lib/libicui18n.so.54 (0x00007f8a28322000) libicuuc.so.54 => /usr/lib/libicuuc.so.54 (0x00007f8a27f92000) libicudata.so.54 => /usr/lib/libicudata.so.54 (0x00007f8a2010a000) |
