Description:
Since I upgraded to gnome 3.14.1 from 3.12 firefox and thunderbird crashes after suspend. I see the windows but I cannot click on anything. Shotwell crashes too and VLC from time to time, when I seek in a video. The whole system has become unstable.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start firefox
2. Suspend (standby)
3. Wakeup
4. Firefox/Thunderbird does not respond any more

Firefox/thunderbird issues have been fixed by disabling the browser plugin in evince. As for your other problems: provide more information.

Firefox and Thunderbird seem to work now.

However, Shotwell still freezes without any message.
