Description:

Since the last update, unpaper exits immediately with an error:

% unpaper --overwrite --no-grayfilter --layout none in.ppm out.ppm
Processing sheet #1: in.ppm -> out.ppm
[NULL @ 0xd93b60] No codec provided to avcodec_open2()
unpaper: error: unable to open codec: Invalid argument
Try 'man unpaper' for more information.

Arch is offering ffmpeg in the main repositories while the developer is developing against libav. Installing libav from the AUR instead of ffmpeg makes this unpaper package work again. The developer just merged a patch to make it compatible with ffmpeg *and* libav. So the next release, 6.1 published as of today, should work with both libavcodec providers (until they get incompatible again ;-) ).
