Unable to start Squid service after a fresh install if a "proxy" user/group does not exists. Error message: getpwnam failed to find userid for effective user 'proxy' FATAL: getpwnam failed to find userid for effective user 'proxy' Squid Cache (Version 3.4.8): Terminated abnormally. Additional info: * package version(s): 3.4.8 Steps to reproduce: * install squid on a system with no pre-existing "proxy" user/group * try to start the service |
