DetailsSome, but not all of the locales have a setting that looks like this:
LC_TIME first_weekday X (where X = (1-7)) Notably, the en_* locales are missing this option. The default is 2 (Monday) for all locales, which will make several apps think the first day of the week is Monday instead of Sunday (gnome-calendar and xfcalendar for example). Could you at least make note of this glibc's .install file and put the deafult "first_weekday 2" in all locales? It's been driving me nuts for several months, and I had given up on a solution until today. :) |

Additional comments about closing: Applied a debain patch to fix this. All locales that have officially monday set as first weekday should have it now.
