Description:
nvidia-340xx module not loading with latest kernel, on previous kernel it was ok

Additional info:
nvidia-340xx 340.46-2
linux 3.16.4-1

* config and/or log files etc.

dmesg :

Same here (up to date x64 system). Trying to modprobe the nvidia module manually says:

ERROR: could not insert 'nvidia': Exec format error

Trying command modprobe with -f option, it works!

#modprobe -f nvidia
Works for me. But after restart i need type this command again and start Dm manually :(
