Details

Today i istalled gnome-2.14 and rhythmbox 9.3.1-3 from testing

where i noticed a missing dependency:
rhythmbox puts out the error
rhythmbox: error while loading shared libraries: libdbus-glib-1.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
and quits.

This library is to old and not available in dbus 0.61-2,
which was installed as a dependency for gnome-vfs

Make sure all packages are up2date, I guess your libgpod library isn't up2date.

I got the problem, after I did pacman -Suy with testing as teh first repository in pacman.conf.
So I do not think, my packages are to old.

libgpod has nothing to do with libdbus-glib, and I even do not own an ipod, so why should I install it?
