DetailsThe giflib package should be added as a dependency of kmymoney.
I upgraded giflib from version 6 to 7. Kmymoney showed a message it couldn't find libgif.so.6 anymore. |

No, kmymoney does not depend on giflib. If you export LD_DEBUG=files and run the binary from the command line, you'll see that it's some other dependency which pulls in libgif.so. It isn't a direct dependency of kmymoney...

All of which means you have something else on your system that needs rebuilt. Check your AUR packages. If you end up finding something in the main repos that needs rebuilt, open a new bug report.
