Description:

Without xarchiver, pcmanfm lists compress and uncompress as options for folders/files and compressed folders/files respectively, but cannot actually compress or uncompress unless xarchiver is installed. It may be the case that other compression utitlities like file-roller may do the job as well, I am not sure. Regardless, these should be listed as alternative options.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

Install pcmanfm and make sure xarchiver is not installed.

It can work with other backends as well, at least Ark here works with it, both compress/uncompress works with Ark.

Of course pcmanfm supports multiple backends, but xarchiver is the most lightweight and is listed on LXDE's wiki: http://wiki.lxde.org/
