Description:

After sleep state KDM sometimes freeze, but I can move mouse. Cursor in password input field is even don't blinking. I think the problem with X.Org or intel video driver, but this is only my assumption. And one more thing, even when KDM is freezed I can do Ctrl+Alt+F2 and after 5-10 seconds can login to console. In console I can do systemctl stop kdm, it stops, then systemctl start kdm and PC now freeze with black screen!

The problem began to appear about 3-4 weeks ago, but i don't know exactly when. My system is always up to date.

My video card is intel HD 3000 in my core i7-2600K.

I found some similar bug, but it is for ubuntu and laptop with other video card, may be it can help:

and related topic to it

Additional info:
I attach the latest part of dmesg > error.txt with some trace. It is taken in console right after freeze.

Is still still present with latest kernels? If so please report this upstream - seems drm related.

Yes, it's still here. Last freeze was yesterday. I even don't know which upstream bug it is - xorg? xf86-intel? kernel? kdm? other drm parts?

And some additional info:
It looks like system freezes even before sleep state, because it takes too long to sleep and it's behave strange right before it. So i can 100% say when sleep will be not normal.

File the bug against the crashing DRM intel module.

Make sure it's also buggy in linux 3.17 that had major fixes included.

Ok, so I wait for linux 3.17 in core repo, and write here if bug still exist or fixed.

More than a month has passed since my bug report, so I must report current status)
This bug has gone one or two weeks before ArchLinux(and I) upgraded to 3.17 kernel, and never show up in 3.17, so I think that it can be considered fixed in 3.17 kernel or even earlier
