DetailsDescription:
Basically, all of the functionality is broken. Any screens but the first are black, not even the cursor shows up. The multiple display functionality of i3 also appears to be broken, rendering most of i3 useless. Additional info: xorg-server: 1.16.1-1 xorg-server-xdmx: 1.16.1-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Have you tried switching back to a rooted x server? Information was in the Arch news item for the 1.16 release

Thanks so much! That fixed a lot of problems. There are only two problems now: The cursor position on a vncserver does not update for the client (I have tried multiple clients) when Xdmx is activated, and the text in i3 doesn't show up (no i3bar, numbers for the workspace, titles for the windows). Do you have any idea how to fix those? I used '-noglxproxy -norender -ignorebadfontpaths +xinerama' for Xmdx, '--force-xinerama' for i3, and no special flags for vncserver. I tried removing the '-ignorebadfontpaths' option,

You may ask I3 devs if they can fix something or report it to the Xorg guys. There's not much we can do.
