Description:
See upstream bug report here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=736334

This bug prevents weather data from loading with the current 3.12.2-1 version of the libgweather package. This was fixed upstream and is on the 3.12 branch, but a new release is not available. Perhaps Arch could release 3.12.2-2 with the patch applied?

I have rebuilt the package myself using ABS with the patch applied, and it fixed the bug. Both gnome-weather and gnome-shell-extension-weather show all the expected data. Modified PKGBUILD is attached for your convenience.

Patch is attached and also available here: https://git.gnome.org/browse/libgweather/commit/?h=gnome-3-12&id=89de9f95660f2fcdaf8ffc4ebe3c7c192d42f464

Additional info:
* package version(s)
libgweather 3.12.2-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
Try to use gnome-weather or the gnome-shell-extension-weather and observe that most or all weather data is missing. gnome-weather shows current temperature but not the extended forecast.

libgweather 3.14.0 should be hitting the testing repo any time. I'm assuming this will fix this?

I believe so. It appears the commit was in the master branch before the 3.14 tag.

I assume the 3.14 testing version won't be able to be used without upgrading the rest of gnome to the 3.14 testing versions, so it would be nice if this could be fixed so weather data can be available over the next days/weeks until the 3.14 packages are ready to release.
