is libgnomeprintui really neccessary for librsvg? the package in current doesn't has this dependency...
is the svg lib used for printing? it's just additional gnome packages :(

it depends on gtk2 anyway.
with project ridley it will be merged anyway.

but why is another 400kb of diskspace so bad ?

forgot a bit, it is no problem to remove it: it is only for the rsvg-view program. which is only an very small viewer.

Just make it a makedepend. The extra binary program isn't a big problem, and since both are in current, it's not a big deal to have the tool.

Another diskspace is not so bad, but unneeded dependency is bad. There are many packages that have unneeded run-time dependencies that, in fact, are build-time dependencies. The situation should be improved.
