Details

The current /etc/webapps/mediawiki/apache.example.conf we ship does not work with the current Apache (2.4). To fix this,

"Order allow,deny
Allow from all"

needs to be replaced with

"Require all granted"

Furthermore, /etc/webapps/mediawiki/.htaccess (besides also having the out-of-date syntax), does the exact same thing as apache.example.conf, and should therefore be removed in my opinion.

Just to save the maintainer some work (spupykin is maintainer for all these packages):

phpvirtualbox has the exact same issues (both apache.example.conf and .htaccess)
drupal has the exact same issues (both apache.example.conf and .htaccess)
cgit has an outdated apache.example.conf
postfixadmin has an outdated .htaccess
