Details

When starting some of preferences applications from control-center 2.14.0-1 like gnome-font-properties or gnome-sound-properties a warning dialog appears and disappear immediately (to fast to capture the message). But the applications continue to run normal.

well i didn't notice it

and it is over in 0.2 seconds, but i will see if i can fix this.

Hmm, I can see something flashing over my screen, but I have no idea what it is. Trying to delay it with valgrind or strace makes it go away, so it's some kind of timing issue I guess.
