DetailsDescription:
Running xorg on kernel 3.16 or newer causes a freeze for about 10 seconds every 20 seconds. kernel-lts (3.14 at the moment) works fine. There seems to be no freeze when not running X. Additional info: * Kernel 3.14 (LTS) works fine, with 3.16 and 3.17 (rc5 at the moment) I do have the issue * dmesg output and a picture of the strange errors that appear whenever I try to shutdown the system are attached The PC is a HP G6-1345ED with 8 GB of RAM, AMD A6-3420M CPU with switchable graphics (6520M + 6470M). At the moment, I'm not sure weather this is a kernel issue or maybe a bug in Xorg... |

I installed several updates including 3.16.4 and new mesa drivers and had no more freezes. I guess it's fixed!
