Hmm, that doesn't make sense. The icon is usually the responsibility of the program, not the tray app itself. Further, this can be affected by the theme if it's a GTK program (maybe Qt as well).

In lxpanel-0.6.2-1 this is no problem.
0.7.0-2 - the problem is.

Please confirm that the issue is fixed in lxpanel 0.7.2-1.
