DetailsDescription:
Tab switching experiences intermittent slowness, sometimes taking over 10 seconds. Occasionally, switching tabs will cause the entire page to flicker rapidly until all areas of the page are repainted (sometimes taking several seconds). Additional info: * First reported here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1065236 * On Bugzilla it was suggested I try an official Mozilla binary. I tried firefox-esr-bin from the AUR (version 31.1.0-1) and it does not exhibit the problem behavior. It was surmised that the Arch modifications and linking of different libraries might be to blame. Steps to reproduce: Using Firefox for more than a couple of minutes usually causes the issue to surface. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1065236 for specific steps that exhibited the behavior on my system. |
