exiv2 is needed by strigi which is needed by kdelibs which is needed by calligra-krita.

How do you manage to remove it?

Good question. strigi wasn't installed either. I installed strigi with --asdeps and that fixed it. I have no idea how strigi either got removed or wasn't installed in the first place. Maybe there was a version of kdelibs that was missing the strigi dependency that I had the misfortune to install at the wrong moment?

I guess this bug can be closed, unless there's an outstanding bug in pacman where dependencies are leaked or something.

Nope. Current kdelibs requires strigi so, unless you do partial updates (which are unsupported: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pacman#Partial_upgrades_are_unsupported) or you have a custom kdelibs package, you should have it.
