Linking of /usr/share/sidplayfp/{kernal,basic,chargen} was removed from the packaging in this commit: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/libsidplayfp&id=9b5556bdc298bb5c92739818e1203a35f8bf6d70 I'm not sure the basis of the "vice support seems dropped" comment since the setRoms() function is still present and still works fine in 1.5.2: http://sourceforge.net/p/sidplay-residfp/code/HEAD/tree/tags/libsidplayfp/1.5.2/sidplayfp/sidplayfp.h#l146 Technically the library won't access the files under /usr/share/sidplayfp, but the sidplayfp command-line program and Audacious both expect the files at that location, so it's useful to have the symbolic links. My mistake; I've fixed this with 1.5.2-2.
