DetailsDescription: The root htints file included with the bind package is slightly out of date. I downloaded the newest version using
wget --user=ftp --password=ftp ftp://ftp.rs.internic.net/domain/db.cache -O /var/named/named.root and noticed differences between this file and /var/named/root.hint Package version: bind 9.10.0.P2-1 Steps to fix: Just update the root.hint as per the command given above. Also note that the file name "root.hint" is nonstandard. db.root or named.root would be better choices. |

The inconsistent remains in package version 9.10.1-1.
