FS#41779 - Systemd seeks plymouth but it was never installed

Description:
Recently, after upgrade at every boot, I get a message asking me to enter root password to drop down to emergency console or hit Ctrl+D to continue. In the emergency console, the journal shows that plymouth was not found. I have never installed plymouth. pacman -Qs plymouth confirms there is no plymouth. systemctl list-unit-files --type=service does not list plymouth either. Additional info: * package version(s) systemd 216-1 linux 3.16.1-1 * config and/or log files etc. journal is attached |

But this isn't why you've been dropped to an emergency shell... The emergency and rescue units attempt to launch plymouth when activated, and ignore any failure to find plymouth. Consider it "optional support".
