Description:

gambit-c needs texinfo to install, else this happens:
/tmp/alpm_P5dSAo/.INSTALL: line 5: install-info: command not found

texinfo should be in the build requirements of gambit-c.

Steps to reproduce:

* System with texinfo not installed.
* pacman -S gambit-c

texinfo is part of the base group. If you remove packages from the base group, you should know exactly what you're doing and expect things like this. Packagers have the option of assuming all packages in the base group are installed.

Like Doug Newgard said, texinfo is in "base". Users are expected to install "base" before installing official packages, and "base-devel" before installing AUR packages. This is documented on the wiki and mentioned in various installation instructions. Closing this one.
