Actually this font (alongside others) have the -f in fc-cache called in the .install file, this correctly will force a rebuild in the font cache but the concecuenses it that either could in some cases hang X or not be really need. My feature request is to remove that -f in fc-cahe in the install file to prevent hanging X in some cases and nor rebuild the cache innessesary in many cases. And you could consider add -s ad ttf-bitsream-vera do. Steps to reproduce: install ttf-iliberation with X runing and look how X hang. |
